Family Pet Classifieds Update

We have had to change the policy on who can post ads on the website. As you know we have been fighting the spam posters on the site. I asked for all bronze members to send me a email to call and verify them but I actually had a spam poster verify. So from now on for anyone to be able to post ads on the site they must be signed up for a gold or silver membership. The 60 day free trial is still in place but this way everyone will have to be registered with paypal and this will hopefully cut down on the spam posters.

Due to the number of scams that are being posted on the site we are going to have to change the way new bronze "free" members can post ads. All new bronze accounts will have to be phone verified before they can post ads. This will hopefully cut down on the number of scam ads being posted. We need to have the highest quality of ads posted to protect the buyers searching for pets for sell as well as this will help the honest members who are posting ads have buyers only view their ads.

 

Free 60 days full membership

Just wanted to remind everyone that has a bronze membership that you can sign up for a gold membership for 60 days free. This would allow your contact information to show on all your ads. This is also valid for breeder listings. So take a minute to create a gold membership and see your number of calls go up.

 

Also our monthly drawing for 2-100.00 gift cards is in full swing. Get 1 entry for every ad up to 12 and refer another breeder get 12 additional chances.

Family pet Classifieds offering 2-$100.00 gift cards

Starting January 15th every member that places a ad will recieve 1 chance to win 2 $100.00 gift cards. The max number of chances a member can get is 12 from placing ads. If a member refers someone and they place ads the member can recieve 12 additional chances"no limit on number of referals" just send a email and we will confirm. Keep a eye on our Facebook page for more specials.

Something to think about

It looks like there are alot more people looking for puppies and kittens. We get several emails weekly from people looking to buy but they ask us why they cannot see the contact information for the ads on our site that do not have a upgraded membership. People just do not want to pay to see the information, they just keep looking for a ad that has all the information. We just wanted to pass on to all members that you may want to think about upgrading your membership.

Just wanted to let everyone know that our membership is growing day by day and the number of buyers searching for your puppies is growing every minute. Remember you should only post 1 pet per ad so if you have a litter of 8 you should post 8 ads "this gets your ad the most exposure"

 

Also a hint: if you repost a ad every day or every few days its keeps moving your ad to the top of the page. These always get viewed first.

 

Quality weekly views

Another weekend is almost here, please login and click on my content. You can see how many views you had on your ads. If you do not want to pass up buyers who have searched your ads on other sites and then view your ads here you need to upgrade your membership so buyers can view your contact info and be able to call. Most buyers do not want to pay a fee to view contact info.

Important message about you ad on familypetclassifieds

www.familypetclassifieds.com has just made a deal with another top pet advertising website to post all ads on their site as well. So what does that do for all our ads? We will be getting more direct views on our customer's ads since alot of time people just browse ads. With the people browsing ads on other sites, and then they come to our site from a actuall ad they viewed your ads views will be getting more powerfull and better quality leads.

Photos of your pets you have posted

Just wanted to drop a note and welcome anyone who wants their pets advertised on other top sites to email a pic of 1 or all the pets you have listed on this site to familypetclassified@comcast.net and we will post ads for you and have all traffic directed to this site. This will only increase your pets exposure. Remember to all bronze members- your contact info does not show so you may be passing up buyers since some choose not to pay to see this info.

 

Last weeks visits and sales

Last week our average visits per page was 101. The highest visit was 153 and the lowest was 1 per page. If you are a bronze member you may want to consider upgrading so the potential buyers can see your contact info or you might be passing sales away. We have lowered our membership fees due to the high number of visits and requests by several visitors not being able to see contact info.
